Overview

“Share the Pain, Bury the Memories” follows Han, a young man as he navigates the aftermath of a damaging relationship that fractured him emotionally and left him uncertain about his place. Han struggles concerning trust as well as needing to heal. He unexpectedly connects deeply with Juno, and Juno exists within a committed relationship. As their bond grows, both of them are forced to question all of the roles they play as well as confront all their vulnerabilities. Han finds some solace in the very honest and sometimes very uncomfortable truths Juno reveals as he begins now to rebuild his sense of self. Since the film is set right against the backdrop of Stratford, London, it fully captures the raw emotional terrain of grief, of healing, and of the unspoken weight men often carry within silence. The narrative questions typical concepts regarding manliness and feelings are shown. Also, friendships blur and loyalties are tested.
