Overview
A half-melancholic king laments of a loss of a beautiful golden pelican bird he had in his youth, but also is happy that in all his travels serching for it he had never met a maid as beautiful as his daughter. His daughter the princess then declares that she will only marry a man who would return the magical bird back to her father.
