Overview
With a style described as steep, abrupt, and beautiful, Norwegian-born Beate Grimsrud became a powerful voice in Sweden—as an author, director, and playwright. Now, her acclaimed novel *Jag föreslår att vi vaknar upp* (“I Suggest We Wake Up”) is being staged as a play at Det Norske Teatret in Oslo.
