Overview

• The Expedition: Ambitious filmmaker Carl Denham travels with a crew and struggling actress Ann Darrow to the uncharted Skull Island, looking to shoot a dramatic picture. • The Sacrifice: The primitive local islanders kidnap Ann and offer her as a ritual sacrifice to a colossal, 50-foot prehistoric gorilla named Kong. • The Rescue & Capture: First mate Jack Driscoll and Denham venture into the jungle full of prehistoric beasts to save Ann. Instead of killing Kong, they trap him and transport him to New York City to be exhibited on Broadway as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". • The Rampage & Climax: Flash photography and noise enrage Kong. He breaks free, wreaks havoc through Manhattan, recaptures Ann, and climbs to the top of the Empire State Building. Biplanes attack him, and he falls to his death.
